The Mocal oil cooler adapter is for GM LS-series engines to incorporate athermostat that automatically regulates oil flow toconnected cooling devices. Installation is simple: units simply bolt on in place of the factory gauge sender.
Note: Will not clear many long tube headers. Works with most mid-length, shorty and stock headers.

Provision for factory M12 x 1.5 sender.
Built-in thermostat bypasses oil until 178° F and is fully open at 185° F.
Eliminates the need for an external thermostat, oil filter relocation adapter, and associated additional lines and fittings.
Oil is bypassed directly at the block instead of flowing through the oil cooler lines first. This means your engine receives oil quicker during start-up.
Includes spacer required for some oil pans
Direction of flow: Lower port is the return from the oil cooler.
Dimensions: Approx 3.63" (w) x 2.75" (h) x 1.50" (d) (main block), 4.50" x 4.50" x 1.50" (including fittings). Spacer adds 7/16" to depth.

Will not clear accessories (alternator or power steering) on most front-sump vehicles (GTO, Monaro, Commodore, etc). For these vehicles, use our GTO Oil Cooler Adapter.
