Mocal Remote Oil Cooler Thermostat, 180°F, -8AN Male Flare

Oil thermostats are a required component of a proper oil cooling system. Thermostats ensure that the oil reaches proper operating temperatures as quickly as possible after start-up to prevent excessive engine wear. Running an oil cooler without a thermostat in non-racing conditions or in cooler weather will result in unsafely-low oil temperatures which can damage your engine.

The Mocal remote mount oil thermostat is designed to prevent flow to the oil cooler until the oil reaches a temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82C).
